affiliated ourselves with the Southern Pine
Inspection Bureau, an independent third
party agency that oversees
our grading program. This insures that graders
stay sharp and avoid mistakes. Our efforts have proven successful at
Franklin Timber Co. From a small town in
rural Mississippi we’ve
reached out to the world. By using
technological advancements in lumber
scanning and log positioning, we’ve
drastically improved the efficiency of our
sawmill. We don’t cut any more logs; we
cut more lumber from the same number of
logs, which is good for us and
good for the forests. Using our strong fast
growing Southern Yellow Pine resources, we
expect many years of harvesting, replanting,
and providing you with the high quality you
